On Saturday, May 2 we celebrated the opening market of our 25th season. The weather was amazing and brought out a huge crowd (it almost felt like July!) We had a full market, lots of fresh veggies, baked bread and eggs. In addition, several crafters and liquor vendors joined us.
We'd like to thank the local media for attending our news conference on Wednesday, April 30 in Gyro Park. Several of our founding members were on hand to share stories of starting the market in 1991. Joy Road and Backyard Beans provided refreshments. Mayor Andrew Jakubeit and councillors Judy Sentes and Campbell Watt lended their support as well.
